The 2023 Rock & Stroll Vol. 2, Walk for Seniors is almost here! In 2022, we had a great number of registrants and look forward to this year’s event yielding a amazing group of participants. There is time to register if you are interested in joining the festivities and sharing in some family-friendly fun. This year’s event will have featured activities for children, a food truck, vendors, entertainment immediately following the event and much more. Cost is $40 per participant. Sponsorship opportunities are still available! Call the PAJ Center and register your attendance.

Join Lake County's award-winning seamstress Queen Josephine for yoga and sewing every 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 801 McAlister Ave Waukegan, IL! Get started learning how to make you own clothing or make alterations & repairs, or get help with designs you've already started ... all in an environment of wellness and tranquility. Itinerary is: Yoga and meditation at 9 am. Refreshments at 10 am. Sewing at 1030 am to 1230 pm.

Have fun Lino print making with Dandelion Artist Alliance member, Jesus Ortega that will teach how to create their own Lino-stamp using tools to develop printed picture (s). All materials are included. Treats and refreshments provided. Family friendly workshop. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by a parent unless authorized. Print making is a process of transferring an image from a carved block or prepared silk screen to make many copies of the original art that evolved during the political evolutionary period.
