Start your weekend off in a healthy way on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Bring your mat (some will be available for rent) and yoga blocks, wear comfortable clothes, bring water, and enjoy. All levels and abilities welcome.

The Waukegan Park District invites the public to participate in the 8th Annual George Bridges 5K Run/Walk! In its eighth year, the run/walk will have a superhero theme. Children will be able to participate in a free kids race before the awards ceremony. All proceeds from the 8th Annual George Bridges 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County – Waukegan, helping individuals with special needs participate in athletics, camps, and other recreation programs. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category. For $34, participants will receive a race packet and a commemorative race t-shirt. Individuals can register online or at the front desk of the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center
