Catholic Charities hosts senior (60+) meals at Foss Park District two Tuesdays per month. Reservations must be turned in by the previous Thursday at 4pm. To reserve your spot, call 847-782-4170 and, if you have to leave a message, include your name, telephone number, and date you will attend. The meals are served buffet style with dessert. The next meal is Tuesday, March 7th. Other Tuesday dates are March 21st, April 4th, April 18th, May 9th, and May 23rd.

Do you like to write? Do you have a funny, inspiring, or interesting story to tell about a work experience that you would love to share with the world? Do you have thoughts about how our culture should change the way we think about or approach work? Come to a FREE LakeCounty@Work writing workshop! You will get help crafting a short nonfiction narrative about your personal work-related story that may be performed live at the Spring Showcase! How It Works Participants who attend the workshop are provided with a series of exploratory questions to help them brainstorm ideas for their personal narratives. You will be assigned an online mentor or "story sensei," who will work with you virtually (using Basecamp, an online project management tool) to help you polish your draft, with the ultimate goal of reading/performing at our Spring Showcase at CLC's Grayslake Campus on Friday, May 12.

Fun is in the forecast every Thursday night with Live Trivia! Prizes each round. Bring your friends and your own food or order delivery. The most common excuse for not playing is: 'We're terrible at trivia (paraphrased)' and ZümBier wants you to know they're right there with you! But it's free and there are prizes and it's a fun night.
