Navy Civilian Jobs Hiring Fair! Don’t Miss It! Great Jobs with great benefits and close to home. Navy Child & Youth Programs (CYP) and Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) will be hiring for multiple positions on child care, recreation and more. CYP provides all ages of care including CDC (6 weeks to 5 years of age), School-Aged Care (6 to 12 years) and Teen Programs (13 to 18 years). MWR delivers programs and services to the military community that contribute to resiliency, retention, readiness and quality of life. Examples include Marina, Golf Course, Gyms and Fitness Centers, Aquatics Programs, Library, Recreation Centers, Special Events, Food and Beverage locations.

Boat America is a boating certificate class that offers an in-depth and interesting boating safety course, and provides the knowledge needed to obtain a boating certificate. Some insurance companies will also offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course. Course fee includes workbook and practice line.

Larsen's Annual Saturday Seminar Series is back! Each week, they will host two free seminars, no sign-up necessary. They’ve curated a variety of marine-related topics, from maintenance to sail selection and everything in between. These seminars are for anyone looking to find a valuable, educational experience while waiting for boating season to return. March 18th is A Yachtsman’s Guide to Cordage, Knots, and Line Handling with Alan Veenstra of Chicago Sailing at 9am, followed by Safety and Maintenance Below the Waterline with Mark Kish of Larsen Marine at 11am.
