Kohl Children’s Museum free Pop-Up includes high-quality interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) elements: • Imagination Playground: Explore engineering and construction with large blue building blocks. • I Am a Naturalist: Use science to explore elements of the great outdoors, including shell collections, fossils, and insect specimens. • Motion Quest: Experiment with using air pressure, gravity, and gears to make things move with out actually touching them. • Art Studio • Book Nook

Traditionally, a Dia de los Muertos altar is an intentional space dedicated to a person or people that have passed away. During this program, you will create your own altar in memory of someone that has passed. You can include anything you want to celebrate them: photos, foods they liked, flowers, etc. The library will have Mexican sweet bread and hot chocolate (Chocolate Abuelita!) to enjoy.
