The Network to Freedom, a National Park Service program, will discuss the Underground Railroad and more as they focus on how their work coordinates preservation and education efforts nationwide associated with the Underground Railroad. In this program, you will also learn more about local Lake County connections. Join the Dunn Museum for the opening of the temporary exhibit, Through Darkness to Light: Photographs along the Underground Railroad, on display from January 28 - March 19.

Meditate and practice yoga with Waukegan Wellness in the ambiance of art! Prepare to create! All levels class designed with the artist in mind. A gentle sequence blending Himalayan style movement with traditional postures — Targeting parts of the body that an artist may need some love; but are still beneficial for all. Postures will be followed by a brief guided relaxation and mediation preparing participants for an opportunity to express themselves through the artistic tools provided by the studio. Yoga and Meditation led by Calvin Piktel current student at the Himalayan Institute. Yoga's incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person's mental well-being and with an added 30 minuets of studio time to release, reflect and create, for some artistic wellness. Bring your yoga mat! Yoga mats may be rented for $5. Pre- registration required. All art materials for the period provided in studio; guests are welcome to bring their own if they wish.
Introducing Master Resin Geode Workshop, two session workshop instructed by Artist Alliance Member, Sunny Corba. This two part workshop will allow you to create your original one of a kind resin geode wall art for any space! The workshops are divided into two separate days as each layer takes up to 24 hours to properly cure before the next layer can be poured: Saturday, Jan. 28th 1 pm - 3 pm and Saturday, Feb. 4th 1 pm - 3 pm

The Meaningful Action Theatre Company Presents A Workshop Reading Of “Muffed: A Recounting Of Farmington, Maine’s 43rd Annual Chester Greenwood Day Devised By The Members Of The Meaningful Action Theatre Company.” If you love “Waiting for Guffman” than this show is for you. A fictional troupe of actors interview the residents of Farmington during their annual celebration of Chester Greenwood, the inventor of the earmuff. This show is for anyone who has worked on group projects.
