Come to the Hope Food Pantry at UMMA and receive a special item every week, as well as a WHOLE bag of groceries! Hope Food Pantry is open Wednesdays 12pm - 2pm. Registration is required and may be done in person or online. Delivery is also available.
The Affordable Connectivity Program is part of the FCC that helps connect families and households connect to the internet affordably. HACES and ConnectWaukegan will host two workshops to help families access the program. Make an appointment by calling 847-244-0300.
College of Lake County Lakeshore Campus
College of Lake County (CLC) is starting up their Community Outreach art workshops again! These free workshops are for adults, teens and kids - and everyone leaves with a free art kit. CLC's outreach efforts include four EASE workshops, four ATA workshops, several NEW rotating small exhibits at Lakeshore Campus, and a large art exhibit at the Robert Wright Gallery at Grayslake Campus in May, where all are invited to participate. They are once again collaborating with Voices of Lake County, CLC Performing Arts, and many area and CLC artists!

Ready to learn something new? The Waukegan Public Library's Nonfiction Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of every month. They read quick, interesting books that are sure to stimulate discussion. September's book is "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck.
