Meet at: Three Brothers Theatre
Join Waukegan Main Street (WMS) for their bimonthly community cleanups! They'll pick up litter to freshen up our Downtown! Cleanup starts at 9am and runs until 11am or when all of the litter is removed. Meet at 221 N Genesee Street (Three Brothers Theatre) and head South down to Belvidere Road. WMS will supply trash bags, gloves, and water for all.

Lilac Cottage
Waukegan Park District and Waukegan Historical Society are hosting the 27th Annual Oakwood Cemetery Walk, an annual “living history” event showcasing the rich history of Waukegan using costumed actors to portray local historic figures with connections to the cemetery and Waukegan. This year's theme is “What Made the City Work,” including stories of the people who helped shaped the growth of our town with both common and uncommon jobs. Attendees meet at Lilac Cottage in Bowen Park. Buses depart from Lilac Cottage to Oakwood Cemetery at 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, and 2:30pm. The last tour begins at approximately 2:45pm.
