Come to the Hope Food Pantry at UMMA and receive a special item every week, as well as a WHOLE bag of groceries! Hope Food Pantry is open Wednesdays 12pm - 2pm. Registration is required and may be done in person or online. Delivery is also available.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is part of the FCC that helps connect families and households connect to the internet affordably. HACES and ConnectWaukegan will host two workshops to help families access the program. Make an appointment by calling 847-244-0300.

End of the growing season cleanup can be a daunting task. This presentation will help organize fall tasks into an easy to-do list. It will help you put your garden to sleep for the winter to prepare for spring. Presented will be: benefits of applying compost in fall, discuss how autumn garden tasks can take into account overwintering birds, insects, and pollinators, along with other topics. This will be our final workshop in the series for 2022. Zoom link, slides and handouts will be sent out via email the week of the presentation.
