Shorebird migration should be at its peak in early August! It is fun as you never quite know what will turn up on any given day. Greater and lesser yellowlegs, least, semipalmated, spotted, solitary and pectoral sandpipers and perhaps some plovers or dowitchers are possibilities. This site is also good for green and black-crowned night herons and Caspian terns.
