Run for Roberti is an annual fundraiser for Roberti Community House helps support families in need of food and connection. Again this year the run/walk will be virtual meaning you may run/walk wherever you like - or join one of the groups listed on the registration form. Post your photos on social media wearing your Run for Roberti t-shirt and using the hashtag #RunforRoberti.

Join Yoga instructor Marlene and your friends and neighbors for refreshing yoga at the beach, brought to you by the Waukegan Park District and the City of Waukegan. Bring a mat, yoga blocks if you wish, and good vibes. Namaste. All levels.

Angel's Boxing Academy (ABA) will host a free family bootcamp, open to everyone in the community. The community has been touched by increased violence and its rippled effects have impacted everyone. ABA promotes peace and unity. They will walk three laps around the park at the conclusion of the course. Their champs and parents created signs promoting peace and nonviolence; these signs will be displayed during our walk. For more info, contact coach Angel at 847-505-3390.

Our award-winning Waukegan High School JROTC Drill Team will be hosting car washes on Saturdays to raise money for competitions, travel and more. Swing by and support our Bulldogs! $5

The traditional Blessing of the Fleet is open to all boaters, members and guests. The club will open at 10:00am with the blessing at 10:30am. A boat parade will commence immediately afterward. All boaters are welcome to dock alongside the club to have their boats blessed by local clergy. You do not have to be a member of the club or dock your boat in Waukegan to participate. Waukegan Mayor Ann Taylor is scheduled to speak as well as Commodore Jason Fergurson. Annual Mayor's Cup Race will start at 2pm.

Graduation is a milestone that Waukegan to College (W2C) are proud to celebrate with their students and families! W2C feel so proud of what they've accomplished and all the hard work they have put in. A new phase of life starts right after graduation, and they know their success continues. Join the Annual Year-End Celebration, where they will recognize our high school and college graduates, followed by a short reception and lunch. Student Instructions: Please come dressed in your graduation cap and gown.

Join Dandelion Gallery & Studio for a special gift making workshop for Father’s Day. Participants will make a personalize trophy gift for their "Trophy Dad" along with a card! This is a family fun workshop great for youth. Children under 7 yo may need assistance handling tools and completing the project. Participants are asked to bring a photo of their dad/father figure/ role model they are honoring to incorporate on the trophy and/or card. Guests are provided with snacks and refreshments to enjoy during their visit. Register by June 9th.

Face of Humanity Workshop: Face of Humanity Workshop for of a unity project to bring us apart despite our differences. All Lives Matter, Peace and Love we Are One! The workshop is meant to be a therapeutic experience where participants will create and customize their own Paper Mache' face mold to give to the next group of participants and to customize your own. Participants will have the option of being part of our Community Art Exhibit to display their vary own. Participants are provided this tasty snacks and refreshments to enjoy during their visit. They're BACK! Three Brothers Theatre is bringing the special brand of sketch comedy to your favorite local brewery! Saturday night for a suggested donation $10 in the BierHalle. All Ages are welcome, but parental guidance is highly recommended due to adult themes.

The Waukegan Park District will host five free movies in the parks at various neighborhood parks and the Waukegan Municipal Beach. Every movie in the lineup is family-friendly and free popcorn will be available, while supplies last.
