Artist Sunny Corba introduction on resin painting. Students will learn the method, process, tips and tricks. Students will get a chance to mix the resin, mix the paint into the resin, pour/lay resin in an ocean theme/design of seascape painting of their own. Students get to choose the shade of ocean and contrast. Once the painting cures after a minimum of 12 hours students are able to pickup their masterpiece. All materials are provided including but not limited to protective gear, 8x8 canvas boards, paint, brushes, tape, tools (blow torch and heat guns) etc..
Refreshments included! Masks are required.

Veronica Kyle, Statewide Outreach Director, will lead the keynote panel, "Healing from an Eco-Womanist Perspective" at this year's Green Team Summit on September 12th at 5pm. Eco-womanism is an approach to environmental justice rooted in the experience and voices of women of African descent. The keynote will be a "Kitchen Table" panel discussion on what “Rooted for Healing” means from an Eco-Womanist perspective. Veronica will also be leading a journaling exercise during the keynote, so bring your journal and get ready for a celebratory session to launch our three-day healing journey.
