  2. UMMA Food Pantry

    June 21, 2021, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ UMMA Center

    The UMMA BASIC NEEDS program provides food, toiletries, clothing and household supplies like toilet paper and paper towels to families in need. Each week, they hand out 50-100 BASIC NEEDS bags to anyone, including seniors, unemployed and undocumented individuals. Registration is required unless otherwise stated and may be done in person.

  3. Plant Your World for 3rd - 8th Graders

    Learn how to grow your own plant! The Waukegan Public Library will be planting seends and decorating flowers pots to take home, with 3rd - 8th graders. This program will be in person if weather permits. Registration required.

    The Waukegan City Council meets the first and third Monday of every month, except when holidays are observed on those days. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and welcome to address City Council by signing up at the back of the Council Chambers - or, while Council meetings are still virtual, by submitting written, audio or video comments by 4pm the day of the meeting.
