The UMMA BASIC NEEDS program provides food, toiletries, clothing and household supplies like toilet paper and paper towels to families in need. Each week, they hand out 50-100 BASIC NEEDS bags to anyone, including seniors, unemployed and undocumented individuals. Registration is required unless otherwise stated and may be done in person.

Join the Waukegan Public Library for a discussion of Ray Bradbury's literary influences, including that of his hometown, presented in partnership with the American Writers Museum and their Ray Bradbury exhibit Inextinguishable. Opening in early 2021, Inextinguishable will explore the enduring, and sometimes unexpected, influence of Ray Bradbury and his enduring legacy.
