Music and dance play a significant role in Cambodian traditions and cultures. Learn more about Cambodian history and culture through a collaborative event presented by the National Cambodian Heritage Museum. Presenters will provide musical performances and dance demonstrations along with discussion. Participants will be able to engage with presenters through Q&As. In 1970, 20 million individuals joined together on April 22nd to call for the world to step-up and care for the environment. This became the world’s first Earth Day. Now, 51 years later, Faith in Place is honoring Earth Day by hosting a Multi-faith Sunset Earth Day Vigil. Last year, over 200 people joined us for a candlelit vigil during the first days of the Covid-19 pandemic. A year later now, we will gather again to honor the earth and the wisdom lent to us from our faith traditions.

This class will focus on foundational yoga poses, tuning into the alignment of postures with the connection of movement and breath. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking for gentle and balanced practice. Take your practice a bit deeper if you have a more experienced practice or just enjoy the flow if you are newer to your practice. Space is limited, no walk-ins. Registration required 90 minutes prior to the start of class.
