Garbage cans must be placed on the parkway no earlier than 5 pm on the day before your garbage pick up date. All garbage must be removed from the parkway no later than 6 pm on the day on the of service. Garbage cans can NOT be stored in any front yard and must be stored on the side or rear of your property.
All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of eight (8) inches.
Yard waste will be picked up in 32-gallon containers marked YARD WASTE or brown paper yard waste bags from March 15 - December 15. Bags and stickers can be purchased at Ace Hardware, Jewel Osco, Walgreens and Super Fresh. Full year subscriptions can be purchased from Waste Management 847-623-3870.
Bulk furniture and carpet items are limited to 1 item, less than 50 lbs each, per service day. Carpet must be cut, rolled, and tied with string or duct tape in sections of less than six (6) feet.
Seasonal decorations, including items of a primarily decorative natures associated with national local or religious holidays are to be removed within 30 days after the holiday.

All respondents MUST APPEAR to your scheduled hearing date. If you are not able to attend on that day a petition for continuance must be filled with the clerk. If you have missed your hearing date, you have 21 days to file a petition to set aside with the clerk to obtain another hearing. Being in compliance on your hearing date is not an exception. Any respondent not present at the hearing will receive a default judgement and maximum fine. Citations can be issued every day a property remains in violation.
