Office of Professional Standards

The Office of Professional Standards manages complaints and discipline against officers or civilian employees.  OPS also coordinates awards and recognition for outstanding work performed by Police Department employees. 

The Office of Professional Standards is also the primary point of communication with the press and all publicly released information and press releases.
