Alternate Parking Ordinance

The Alternate Parking Ordinance states that vehicles must park on the odd side of the street on odd calendar days and the even numbered side of the street on even calendar days. The ordinance is strictly enforced by the Waukegan Police Department daily from 12:01am to 11:59am.

City Sticker Sales Start March 1, 2022

Purchase 2022 stickers online at waukeganil.gov for early bird rate. Ask for them at the service counter of your local supermarket or at most local currency exchanges; additional fees may apply. Early bird pricing in effect until March 31, 2022.

Garbage Collection Holidays

Whenever the holidays listed fall on a day during the week, the scheduled pickup day will be delayed by one day.
