[ARCHIVED] City Council Goes Virtual

waukegan city council meeting on monday, january 3 2022

During the Monday, January 3rd City Council meeting, Mayor Ann B. Taylor announced that the next two City Council meetings will be virtual only.  The dates for those meetings are Tuesday, January 18th and Monday, February 7th. With the coronavirus omicron variant spreading swiftly through Waukegan and Lake County causing the positivity rate to increase, the virtual option will be the safest for citizens, council members, and city staff.  

Individuals who would like to make comments during 'Audience Time' for those two meetings will have to submit comments in writing to the office of City Clerk Janet Kilkelly at cityclerk@waukeganil.gov  by 4pm on the day of the meeting.  Comments will bee read by city staff during the meeting.  Reminders will appear here on the City's website and City's social media.
