[ARCHIVED] Face Coverings and City Facilities

In a step toward normalcy, face coverings are no longer mandatory in City of Waukegan facilities for individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  Vaccinated individuals also no longer need to wear masks outdoors or in most situations.  “If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things you had stopped doing because of the pandemic,” said the CDC director, Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH.

Be aware that businesses, especially those that are medically oriented, and congregate living settings may still require everyone to wear a mask. Masks are required on buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation. We are all in this together.  (Photo credit: Getty Images)
