We wish you all a happy and safe holiday! As a reminder of the times in which we live, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports more than 1 million COVID-19 cases were reported in the United States over the last seven days. As cases continue to increase rapidly, the safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving is at home with the people you live with. Gatherings with family and friends who do not live with you can increase the chances of getting or spreading COVID-19.
Waukegan City Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. City Hall will reopen on Monday, November 30th at 8am. Many city services are available online, including building/construction permits and bill paying even when the building is closed.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
