SWALCO Household Chemical Waste Event

Appointments are required for Household Chemical Waste Events located at SWALCO's Gurnee Facility to ensure safety & efficiency. Collections are for residential waste only and FREE for Illinois residents. Items include: CFL bulbs, unwanted prescription, over-the-counter medicines and supplements (people and pet), household cleaners, gasoline, garden chemicals, pesticides, oil-based paints (NO LATEX - check out SWALCO's new collection services for latex paint on the website) and varnishes, as well as other household chemicals.
