Civic students examined their communities and identified key assets and key players within them. The students have identified an issue of importance to them and their peers, conducted research and set goals. They analyzed power and explored ways to access that power. They developed strategies, took action, and reflected on their work. Throughout this process they have become powerful leaders able to influence public policy and bring about important changes in their communities. The "Our Town, Our Voices, Our Solutions" Mikva Challenge program is designed to involve people from all walks of life in working on ways to strength our community.
