Holmes (the original Devil in the White City), matrimonial swindlers, and murderers Johann Hoch and Belle Gunness plus (with time permitting) the enduring mystery of Lizzie Borden of Fall River (“Lizzie Borden Took and Axe…”) and Amy Archer Gilligan, the black widow who inspired the play and movie “Arsenic and Old Lace.”
